CROWNED is a platform designed to showcase and celebrate Black hair artistry, connecting stylists, barbers, and clients through a curated digital lookbook experience.
2. User Accounts
2.1 Account Creation
To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate.
2.2 Account Types
- Artist Accounts: For licensed stylists and barbers to showcase their work
- Client Accounts: For individuals seeking inspiration and stylist connections
2.3 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
3. Content Guidelines
3.1 User-Generated Content
By posting content on CROWNED, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute your content on the Platform.
3.2 Content Standards
All content must:
- Be original or properly licensed
- Not infringe on intellectual property rights
- Not contain explicit, harmful, or discriminatory material
- Accurately represent your work (for Artist accounts)
3.3 Content Removal
We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms or our Community Guidelines without prior notice.
4. Artist Responsibilities
Artists using CROWNED agree to:
- Only post work they have personally created
- Obtain necessary permissions from clients before posting their images
- Maintain appropriate licensing for their profession where required
- Respond to client inquiries in a professional manner
5. Prohibited Activities
Users may not:
- Use the Platform for any illegal purpose
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
- Impersonate others or misrepresent affiliations
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform
- Use automated systems to access the Platform without permission
- Engage in any activity that disrupts the Platform's operation
6. Intellectual Property
The CROWNED name, logo, and all related marks are trademarks of CROWNED. The Platform's design, features, and functionality are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
CROWNED is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any content on the Platform.
8. Limitation of Liability
CROWNED shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or Platform notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
