CROWNED is a digital lookbook platform celebrating Black hair artistry. We connect talented stylists and barbers with clients seeking inspiration, while providing artists a beautiful space to showcase their work.

Yes! CROWNED is completely free to browse and use. Creating an account to save looks, follow artists, and connect with stylists is also free. We may introduce premium features for artists in the future.

Click the "Join" or "Sign In" button in the navigation. You can create an account using your email or sign in with Google. Artists will need to complete an onboarding process to set up their portfolio.

Featured artists are selected based on portfolio quality, engagement, and consistent posting. Focus on uploading high-quality images, engaging with the community, and completing your profile. We review portfolios regularly for featuring opportunities.

For the best presentation, we recommend:

• High resolution images (minimum 1080px width)
• Good lighting that shows the style details
• Multiple angles when possible
• Original work only - no reposts from other artists

Yes! You can add links to your external booking system, website, and social media profiles in your artist settings. Clients can contact you through your linked social media or booking platform.

Use relevant tags to help clients find your work. Include the style type (e.g., #boxbraids, #fade), technique (#knotless, #freestyledesign), and any special features (#goldcuffs, #colorwork). Tags improve discoverability.

Use the search function or gallery filters to find artists by location. Each artist's profile shows their location. You can also browse by style type and filter by city or region.

CROWNED is primarily a lookbook platform. To book, visit the artist's profile and use their external booking link or contact them through their linked social media. Booking arrangements are made directly between you and the artist.

Yes! Click the bookmark icon on any look to save it. You can organize saved looks into collections for easy reference. Access your saved looks anytime from your profile or the Saved page.

Click "Forgot Password" on the login page and enter your email. You'll receive a link to reset your password. Links expire after 24 hours for security.

Yes, you can update your username in Settings > Profile. Note that changing your username will update your profile URL and may affect how clients find you.

Go to Settings > Account > Delete Account. You'll be asked to confirm your decision. Once deleted, all your data, including uploaded content and saved looks, will be permanently removed.
